Proportion & space
We look at the relationship between furniture and the room around it, leaving space for movement, conversation and moments of quiet.
About Corner House
Corner House brings together interior design, furniture and making for residential, commercial and hospitality spaces. We care about how people inhabit a room: the scale of a piece, the touch of a material and the way each element becomes part of daily life.

Our point of view01
Light, proportion, materials and furniture shape how a space feels. We consider them together, with the people who will use the space always in mind.
A chair needs room to move. A fabric should feel as good as it looks. A finish should make sense in the light around it. These everyday considerations guide our choices, from the atmosphere of a room to the details you encounter up close.

The grain of wood, the softness of fabric and the surface of stone bring different qualities to a room. We choose materials for how they look, feel and work together.
We think beyond the first impression: how a seat supports you, how a surface is used and how a piece will belong in a room over time.
Design & making
Our connection to manufacturing keeps these decisions grounded in the piece itself. Materials, joints and finishes are considered alongside the design, so the details you see have a clear relationship to how they are made.

Our spaces02
In a showroom, furniture can be understood in context. See how pieces sit together, how materials respond to light and how proportions feel at full scale. Get in touch to learn more about our spaces or arrange a visit.
Our Jiashan studio connects furnishing design and making with residential project collaboration in the United States. Our previous Los Angeles showroom has closed; a new space is being planned. Contact us to discuss current project arrangements.
