Design, through every detail.
Corner House brings furnishing design and furniture manufacturing together. Our designers begin with the room, guide furniture selection and configuration, follow the production process, and review finished pieces before delivery.

Made in Jiashan. Guided by design.
From upholstery to woodwork and metalwork, design takes shape at the workbench.
Our designers coordinate with production to carry the agreed proportions, colors and details into the finished furniture. One design direction guides the work, from the initial plan to the finished piece.

Woodwork & connections
The thickness of a tabletop, the angle of its supports and the direction of the grain define a piece as a whole. Connections should reflect the agreed design direction.
Upholstery & edges
Piping, balanced seams and clean edges shape the finished impression. Designers review the continuity of lines and transitions between materials.
Surface sanding
Wood surfaces are worked at the bench, with attention to grain, light and how adjoining surfaces relate to the whole.
Metalwork
Metal components are made in coordination with the furniture’s proportions and details.

Materials belong in a larger palette.
Our designers consider color, grain and surface texture together, creating a coherent relationship between the pieces in a room. Compare wood with floors and walls, upholstery with the overall palette, and stone with surrounding textures. Materials, finishes and available options are subject to the selected model and confirmed order.

A final look through a designer’s eyes.
Before delivery, designers review finished pieces against the confirmed plan and specifications. They consider each piece on its own, as well as its relationship to the other furniture and the room.
- Proportion & form
- Review the scale, outline and proportions of key elements.
- Color & materials
- Compare colors and finishes with the agreed palette and consider how adjoining materials work together.
- Edges & details
- Look closely at visible seams, edges and connections.
- The complete room
- Revisit the design plan to assess the visual relationships between pieces.
From individual pieces to a complete room.
Sofa length, the visual weight of a chair, table height, and the colors of upholstery, tables and rugs all need to be considered together. Our furnishing design team brings these decisions into one plan, connecting the furniture to the room and to everyday life.

Tell the Corner House furnishing design team about your space. A floor plan or dimensions, room inspiration, and preferred models and quantities are a helpful starting point for discussing proportions, materials and the overall composition.
