Broad rooflines, stone bases and generous glazing compose the arrival frontage. Warm evening light outlines the entrance and covered walkways, creating a gentle transition between outside and inside and a calm setting for the material palette.
Coloured glass and timber furniture give the interior its more expressive moments. Red, yellow and blue-green panes sit within dark window frames, filtering light onto tables and floors. Simply outlined Chinese-style chairs and long timber tables retain a clear structure beneath the decorative colour.
